<h1>New Exchange Rates Set for Export Goods Under Customs Act, 1962 Effective May 1, 2000</h1> This notification, dated April 25, 2000, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act, 1962, sets the exchange rates for various foreign currencies for export goods effective from May 1, 2000. It supersedes the previous notification No. 23/2000-NT-Customs. The rates are specified in two schedules: Schedule I lists exchange rates for one unit of currencies like the US Dollar (43.50 INR), Euro (40.80 INR), and others, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies such as the Belgian Franc (101.15 INR) and Japanese Yen (41.10 INR).
