<h1>New Exchange Rates for Foreign Currencies to Indian Rupees Announced Under Customs Act 1962, Effective March 1, 2000.</h1> This notification, dated 24th February 2000, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Act 1962, establishes the exchange rates for converting specified foreign currencies into Indian Rupees for export goods, effective from 1st March 2000. It supersedes the previous notification No. 09/2000-NT-Customs. The exchange rates are detailed in two schedules: Schedule I lists rates for individual units of currencies like the US Dollar at 43.45 INR and the Euro at 43.70 INR, while Schedule II provides rates for 100 units of currencies like the Japanese Yen at 39.35 INR.
