of <h1>Customs exemption extended under Heading 98.01 to key pipeline, LNG terminal and drinking water supply projects</h1> Notification No. 91/2002-Customs amends Notification No. 42/96-Customs issued under heading 98.01 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975. It substitutes serial no. 24 to specify the 'Koyali-Navagam-Viramgam-Sidhpur-Kot-Sanganer Product Pipeline Project.' It further inserts serial nos. 26 to 30, extending customs exemption benefits to defined Drinking Water Supply Projects for human or animal consumption (including specified desalination, demineralization and purification plants, excluding industrial water plants), an LNG terminal project at Hazira (Gujarat), the Mundra-Kandla Crude Oil Pipeline Project, the Panipat-Rewari Product Pipeline Project, and a project converting the Kandla-Panipat section of the Kandla-Bhatinda Pipeline into crude oil service.
