of <h1>Govt Revises Customs Notification: Automatic Pocket Welting Machines Now Included in List 30 Per Section 25(1) Customs Act 1962.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 21/2000-Customs dated March 1, 2002, through Notification No. 84/2002-Customs, issued on August 19, 2002. Exercising its powers under section 25(1) of the Customs Act, 1962, the government has revised the entry in List 30 of the Annexure. Specifically, S. No. (54) now includes 'Automatic pocket welt sewing machine or Automatic pocket welting machine.' This amendment is made in the public interest and is documented under file number F.No.349/4/2002-TRU.
