of <h1>Customs Notification Amended: New Entry for HAL's SU-30 MKI Aircraft Equipment, Date Extended for S. No. 18 to 2006.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 39/96-Customs, originally issued on July 23, 1996, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment, effective from June 26, 2002, extends the date in the explanation against S. No. 18 from July 1, 2002, to July 1, 2006. Additionally, a new entry, S. No. 21, has been added to the notification, allowing the import of capital equipment required for setting up facilities to manufacture SU-30 MKI aircraft by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (H.A.L.).
