of <h1>India Imposes Provisional Anti-Dumping Duty on Pentaerythritol from Canada, Japan, Taiwan to Protect Domestic Industry</h1> The Indian government has imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on Pentaerythritol imported from Canada, Japan, and Taiwan, following findings that these imports were priced below normal value, causing material injury to the domestic industry. The duty rates are set at $113.5 per metric tonne for Canada, $174.7 for Japan, and $248.6 for Taiwan. This measure is effective until September 26, 2002, and the duty is payable in Indian currency. The applicable exchange rate for calculating the duty will be determined based on the rate specified by the Ministry of Finance at the time of the bill of entry presentation.
