Commencement of amendment to First Schedule of Customs Tariff-operative date appointed to implement Finance Act changes. The Central Government, under clause (b) of section 119 of the Finance Act, 2001, appoints the commencement date from which the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 shall be amended in the manner specified in the Third Schedule to the Finance Act.
