of <h1>Customs Duty on Crude Palm Oil Reduced from 75% to 65% Effective October 30, 2001, per Notification 111/2001</h1> The Central Government has amended Customs Notification No. 17/2001-Customs, dated March 1, 2001, under the Customs Act, 1962. The amendment, effective from October 30, 2001, reduces the standard rate of duty on crude palm oil and its fractions from 75% to 65%. This change is made in the public interest as stated by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue. The amendment is documented in Notification No. 111/2001-Customs and was last revised by Notification No. 109/2001-Customs on October 23, 2001.
