of <h1>Central Government Constitutes Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone Authority Under Section 31 of SEZ Act, 2005</h1> The Central Government, under Section 31 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, constituted the Visakhapatnam Special Economic Zone Authority with its head office at Duvvada, Visakhapatnam. The Authority's composition includes the Development Commissioner as Chairperson (ex-officio), the Joint Director General of Foreign Trade (or nominee) and the Joint/Deputy Development Commissioner (ex-officio), a Joint Secretary from the Department of Commerce (or nominee), and two nominated industry representatives from enterprises located in the Visakhapatnam SEZ. Subsequent notifications have amended the identities of the industry members.
