Special Economic Zone de-notification and re-notification reshape the notified area and revised plot configuration for the IT services zone. A sector-specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Village Tragad and Chharodi, Taluka Dascroi, Ahmedabad, was originally notified under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. The Central Government later de-notified 6.7919 hectares from the zone and recognised the resultant notified area as 25.9163 hectares. The notification further records re-notification of the SEZ on the basis of revised plot numbering issued by the Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority.
