of <h1>Tariff values fixed for edible oils, metals, precious metals and areca nut; substituted tables set rates effective Feb 6</h1> The notification amends the principal customs non-tariff notification by substituting three tariff tables to fix tariff values for specified imported goods (crude and RBD palm oils, other palm products, soya bean oil, brass scrap, gold, silver, areca nut). Each entry states the US dollar tariff value per metric tonne or unit and notes unchanged values where applicable. The amendment becomes effective 6 February 2026 and governs import valuation for the listed commodities, including specified treatments for gold and silver imports that claim benefits under related notification entries.
