<h1>Government revises AIR values and drawback rates for Chapter 71 jewellery under s.75 Customs Act and s.37(2) CE Act</h1> By notification dated 27 October 2025, the government, under section 75 of the Customs Act, 1962 and section 37(2) of the Central Excise Act, 1944 read with Drawback Rules, 2017, further amends Notification No. 77/2023-Customs (N.T.) (20 October 2023) to revise the AIR values for Chapter 71 entries: tariff item 711301 is amended from 466.76 to 524.27, and tariff items 711302 and 711401 are amended from 5234.00 to 6317.22. The amendment updates duty-drawback rates for specified gold and silver jewellery/articles.
