of <h1>Concessional CGST rates for specified handcrafted goods under Section 11(1) CGST Act effective 22 September 2025</h1> Notification No. 13/2025 dated 17 September 2025 amends Notification No. 21/2018 by substituting the previous tariff table to grant concessional Central GST rates on specified handcrafted goods. The schedule lists numerous handicraft categories (wood, stone, metal, textile, paper, ceramic, glass, bamboo, coir, lac, etc.) at 2.5% CGST, with select jewellery and imitation-jewellery items at 1.5%. The amendment is made under section 11(1) of the CGST Act on Council recommendation and comes into force on 22 September 2025.
