of <h1>Union Territory Tax Notification Amended: Fortified Rice Kernel Supply Now Includes Food Inputs for Government Schemes.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. 39/2017-Union Territory Tax (Rate) dated October 18, 2017, under the Union Territory Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendment, effective immediately, adds the words '(c) food inputs for (a) above' to the description of goods in the notification's table, specifically under the entry for Fortified Rice Kernel (Premix) supply for government-approved schemes. This change is made in the public interest following the Council's recommendations. The principal notification was last amended on September 30, 2021.
