of <h1>Central Government Appoints Nodal Officer u/s 14A(3) of IGST Act 2017 for GST Intelligence.</h1> The Central Government has appointed the Additional/Joint Director (Intelligence) of the Directorate General of GST Intelligence Headquarters as the nodal officer under Section 14A(3) of the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This appointment is made in accordance with clause (b) of sub-section (3) of section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and relevant rules under the Information Technology (Guidelines for Intermediaries and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. The notification will be effective from its publication date in the Official Gazette.
