Eligibility for Technical Member relaxed to permit long service Gazetted officers, replacing prior Group A service requirement for a temporary period. The Governor relaxes the qualification for appointment as a Technical Member (State) in State Benches of the Goods and Services Tax Appellate Tribunal by replacing the requirement of completion of twenty five years of service in Group A or equivalent with a requirement of at least twenty five years of Government service as a Gazetted Officer, for a period of ten years from publication. All other conditions under the relevant statutory provision continue to apply.
