of <h1>India Revises RoDTEP Schedule: Adds 39 Tariff Lines, Deletes 13, Modifies 2; Updates on DGFT Portal from Oct 2024.</h1> The Government of India has announced changes to the RoDTEP (Remission of Duties and Taxes on Exported Products) Schedule effective from October 1, 2024, in alignment with amendments to the First Schedule of the Customs Tariff Act. The changes include the addition of 39 tariff lines, deletion of 13, and modification of descriptions for 2 tariff lines at the 8-digit level. These adjustments are reflected in Appendices 4R and 4RE. The updated RoDTEP rates and value caps are accessible on the Directorate General of Foreign Trade's portal. The changes aim to synchronize the RoDTEP Schedule with the revised Customs Tariff Act.
