of <h1>India Revises AIDC Rates on Precious Metals; New Rates Effective July 24, 2024 Under Customs and Finance Acts.</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 11/2021-Customs to revise the Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) on certain items, specifically reducing the AIDC on precious metals. The revised rates are as follows: 1.4% for Sl. No. 15A, 0.35% for Sl. Nos. 15B, 15C, and 15E, and 1% for Sl. Nos. 15D, 15F, and 15G. These changes will be effective from July 24, 2024. The notification is issued under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962 and the Finance Act, 2021.
