of <h1>Rajasthan Revises GST Rates for Cartons, Milk Cans, Solar Cookers; Clarifies Packaging Rules Effective July 15, 2024.</h1> The Government of Rajasthan has issued amendments to Notification No. F.12(56)FD/Tax/2017-Pt-I-40, dated June 29, 2017, under the Rajasthan Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The changes involve tax rate adjustments in Schedules II and III. New entries have been added for specific goods such as cartons, milk cans, and solar cookers, with corresponding tax rates of 6% and 9%. Additionally, provisions clarify that agricultural produce packages over 25 kg or liters are not considered 'pre-packaged and labeled' under the Legal Metrology Act, 2009. These amendments take effect on July 15, 2024.
