of <h1>Central Government Revises Territorial Jurisdiction of Tax Commissioners, Amends Notification 02/2017 with Notification 11/2024.</h1> The Central Government has issued Notification No. 11/2024-Central Tax to amend Notification No. 02/2017-Central Tax, dated June 19, 2017, regarding the territorial jurisdiction of Principal Commissioners and Commissioners of Central Tax and their subordinate officers. The amendments involve changes in Table II of the original notification. Specifically, in serial number 7, the wording is revised to exclude certain areas, and in serial number 49, specific tehsils are omitted. These changes are enacted under the powers conferred by the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017.
