of <h1>India Extends Countervailing Duty on Chinese Pneumatic Radial Tyres for Buses and Trucks Until July 2024.</h1> The Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, has issued Notification No. 01/2024-Customs (CVD) to amend the existing Notification No. 1/2019-Customs (CVD) by extending the countervailing duty on imports of new or unused pneumatic radial tyres from China. These tyres, used in buses and trucks, fall under tariff item 4011 20 10. The duty, initially imposed on June 24, 2019, will now remain effective until July 23, 2024, unless it is revoked, superseded, or amended earlier. This decision follows a review initiated by the designated authority in December 2023.
