of <h1>Government Notifies 77.0950-Hectare Multi-Sector SEZ in Tamil Nadu's A Sathanur Village; Effective November 22, 2023.</h1> The Central Government has officially notified a 77.0950-hectare area in A Sathanur Village, Tamil Nadu, as a Multi-Sector Special Economic Zone (SEZ) proposed by a state corporation. This notification follows the fulfillment of requirements under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005, and the issuance of an approval letter on July 4, 2023. An Approval Committee has been constituted to oversee the SEZ, comprising various government officials and representatives. Additionally, the SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot effective November 22, 2023, under the Customs Act, 1962.
