of <h1>Andhra Pradesh GST Update: Molasses, Millet Flour Taxed at 2.5%; Spirits for Industrial Use at 9%; Changes Effective Oct 20.</h1> The Government of Andhra Pradesh has amended the notification G.O.Ms.No.258 under the Andhra Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. The amendments include the addition of molasses and millet flour food preparations to Schedule I, taxed at 2.5%. Schedule III, taxed at 9%, now includes food preparations of millet flour and spirits for industrial use. Schedule IV, taxed at 14%, has omitted S. No. 1 and its entries. These changes, made on the recommendation of the GST Council, are effective from October 20, 2023.
