of <h1>India-ASEAN Trade Deal: Final Tariff Cuts Implemented from Jan 1, 2023, under Customs Act, 1962.</h1> The notification issued by the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue, implements the fourteenth and final tranche of tariff concessions under the India-ASEAN Trade in Goods Agreement. Effective from January 1, 2023, it amends the previous notification No. 46/2011-Customs by adjusting tariff rates for specific entries in the table: serial numbers 80, 81, and 125 are revised to '45.0,' serial number 83 to '50.0,' and serial number 124 to '37.5.' This amendment is made under the authority of the Customs Act, 1962, to serve the public interest.
