        <h1>Government Approves Multi-Product SEZ for Footwear in Andhra Pradesh; Covers 116.307 Hectares, Effective December 23, 2022.</h1> The Central Government has approved the establishment of a Multi-Product Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for Footwear Manufacturing in Innagaluru Village, Srikalahasthi Revenue Mandal, Chittoor District, Andhra Pradesh. The SEZ will cover an area of 116.307 hectares, as proposed by a private developer under the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005. An Approval Committee has been constituted to oversee the SEZ, comprising various government officials and representatives. The SEZ is designated as an Inland Container Depot effective from December 23, 2022, under the Customs Act, 1962.
