of <h1>Extension of CRY Supported Development Project Approved Under Section 35AC for Three More Years, Increased Funding Allocated.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. S.O. 388(E) dated 19th May 1997, under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961, to extend the CRY Supported Development Project across India for an additional three years starting from the assessment year 2001-2002. The project, managed by CRY (Child Relief and You) in New Delhi, was initially approved for three years from 1998-99. The National Committee has recommended extending the project duration and increasing the project cost from Rs. 1,650 lakhs to Rs. 2,773 lakhs, recognizing its proper execution.
