of <h1>Diesel Export Cess Increased to Rs. 1.50/Litre Effective 1st September 2022, as per Finance Ministry Notification 28/2022.</h1> The Ministry of Finance has issued Notification No. 28/2022-Central Excise, amending a previous notification dated 30th June 2022. The amendment increases the cess on the export of diesel to Rs. 1.50 per litre. This change, made under the authority of the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 2018, is deemed necessary in the public interest. The amendment will take effect from 1st September 2022.
