of <h1>Delhi LG Revokes 2021 Notification on VAT Amendments; Changes Effective from September 1, 2022, u/s 103(1.</h1> The Lieutenant Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi has rescinded a previous notification dated November 10, 2021, concerning amendments to Schedule IV of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. This rescission, effective from September 1, 2022, was executed under the authority granted by section 103(1) of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004. The original notification, issued by the Finance (Expenditure-1) Department, related to the taxation of certain goods at a rate of 20%. The decision was officially documented by the Secretary of Finance.
