of <h1>India Amends GST Exemption: Fly Ash Bricks, Aggregates, and Blocks Included u/s 23(2) Effective July 18, 2022.</h1> The Government of India has amended Notification No. 10/2019-Central Tax from March 7, 2019, regarding the exemption from registration under the Central Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. This amendment, effective from July 18, 2022, modifies the scope of exemption to include fly ash bricks, fly ash aggregates, and fly ash blocks. The change was made under the powers granted by section 23(2) of the Act and follows recommendations from the GST Council. The notification was issued by the Ministry of Finance's Department of Revenue and is documented as Notification No. 15/2022-Central Tax.
