<h1>India Amends Export Policy: New Self-Declaration and Quarterly Reporting Rules for Motor Gasoline and Gas Oil Exports.</h1> The Government of India has amended the export policy for specific items under HS Codes 27101241, 27101242, 27101243, 27101244, 27101249, 27101941, 27101944, and 27101949, as per the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20. These items include various types of motor gasoline and gas oil. Exporters must now submit a self-declaration to customs authorities confirming that a certain percentage of the exported quantity will be supplied domestically within the financial year. This requirement does not apply to exports to Bhutan and Nepal, 100% Export Oriented Units (EoUs), or units in Special Economic Zones (SEZs). Additionally, exporters must file quarterly returns to the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
