of <h1>Government Extends 'Free' Import Policy for Tur/Pigeon Peas and Urad Beans Until March 31, 2022; Customs Clearance by June 30.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification S.O. 1858 (E) to extend the 'Free' Import Policy for Tur/Pigeon Peas and Urad beans until March 31, 2022. Importers must ensure that the Bill of Lading or Lorry Receipt is issued by this date. Consignments can be cleared by Customs if the 'Out of charge' is authorized by June 30, 2022. This amendment maintains the existing import policy for these items, allowing free importation under the specified conditions. The notification is issued with the approval of the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
