of <h1>Madhya Pradesh Amends GST Notification: Changes to Food Preparations for Free Distribution and Fortified Rice Kernel Supplies.</h1> The Madhya Pradesh State Government has amended Notification No. F A-3-72-2017-1-V (135) dated October 18, 2017, under the Madhya Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective October 1, 2021, the amendment modifies entries in the notification's table concerning food preparations. Specifically, food preparations intended for free distribution to economically weaker sections and fortified rice kernel supplies for government-approved programs are addressed. The term 'food preparations' is replaced with 'goods' in specified entries. This amendment is issued by the Commercial Tax Department, Bhopal, under the authority of the Governor of Madhya Pradesh.
