of <h1>Health Project Approved for Tax Benefits Under Section 35AC, Extended for Three Years, Estimated Cost 28.77 Million Rupees</h1> The Central Government has specified a health project by a trust in Mumbai as eligible under section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This project includes a 50-bed hospital, dispensary, child and mother care center, TB clinic, and medical camps for Pneumatic heart diseases in Gujarat. Initially approved for two years starting in 1995-1996, it was extended multiple times. The National Committee, satisfied with its execution, recommended a further extension. Consequently, the project is approved for an additional three years from the 2002-2003 assessment year, with an estimated cost of approximately 28.77 million rupees.
