of <h1>Anti-Dumping Duty Imposed on Theophylline and Caffeine Imports from EU to Protect Indian Industry Until July 30, 2001.</h1> The notification imposes an anti-dumping duty on imports of Theophylline and Caffeine from the European Union, as they have been sold in India below normal value, causing material injury to the Indian industry. The duty is calculated as the difference between specified amounts and the landed value per metric tonne of these imports. The duty applies to Theophylline at $10,686 and Caffeine at $11,486 per metric tonne and is effective until July 30, 2001. The landed value includes assessable value under the Customs Act, excluding certain duties, and the rate of exchange is determined by the Ministry of Finance.
