of <h1>Uttar Pradesh extends GST compliance deadline from May 31 to June 30, 2021, u/s 168, retroactive effect.</h1> The notification issued by the Office of the Commissioner of Commercial Tax in Uttar Pradesh amends a previous notification dated November 24, 2020. It extends the deadline mentioned in the original notification from May 31, 2021, to June 30, 2021. This amendment is made under the authority of section 168 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017, and sub-rule (3) of rule 45 of the Uttar Pradesh Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. The amendment is effective retroactively from May 31, 2021.
