Rescission of Anti-Dumping Duty on 8-Hydroxy Quinoline Imports from China After Review Finds No Domestic Industry Injury
Notification No. 5/2001-Customs, dated January 22, 2001, rescinds the previous Notification No. 27/97-Customs, dated April 1, 1997. This decision follows a review by the designated authority regarding the import of 8-Hydroxy quinoline from China. The authority concluded that these imports did not cause injury to the domestic industry in India during the investigation period. Furthermore, the cessation of the existing anti-dumping duty on these imports is unlikely to result in injury recurrence. The rescission applies except for actions taken or omitted before this notification.
