These bonds, known as the 2009-II series, were issued by Power Corporation Limited during the financial year 1999-2000. They have a total value of seventy-five crores, with an interest rate of 8.70% per annum, payable yearly over ten years. The bonds are divided into two series, with distinctive numbers from 00000001 to 00003050 and from 00003051 to 00007500. The tax-free benefit is available only if bondholders register with the Corporation.
