of <h1>Delhi and Mumbai Commissioners Appointed as Customs Authority for Advance Rulings u/s 28EA, Effective January 2021.</h1> The Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs has appointed Commissioners in Delhi and Mumbai to serve as the Customs Authority for Advance Rulings under the Customs Act, 1962. This appointment is made under the authority granted by section 28EA of the Act. The notification, numbered 102/2020-Customs, was issued on October 23, 2020, and came into effect on January 4, 2021, as per a subsequent notification dated December 31, 2020.
