of <h1>Amendment to Notification S.O. 180(E) raises Shree Sardhav Gram Vikas Mandal's tax deduction limit to Rs. 44.76 lakhs.</h1> The Central Government has amended Notification No. S.O. 180(E) from March 10, 1987, under the powers of section 35AC of the Income-tax Act, 1961. This amendment, effective from November 26, 1999, pertains to the maximum allowable deduction for Shree Sardhav Gram Vikas Mandal, located in Gujarat. The amendment increases the deductible amount from Rs. 29.76 lakhs to Rs. 44.76 lakhs. This revised notification will remain effective for two years, starting from the assessment year 2000-2001.
