        <h1>Extension of transitional period in Sea Cargo Manifest regulations prolongs temporary compliance timeframe later in the year.</h1> The amendment substitutes the expiry date expressions in sub regulation (1) and sub regulation (2) of regulation 15 of the Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment Regulations, 2018, thereby extending the transitional compliance period specified in that regulation; it takes effect upon publication in the Official Gazette and is issued under the powers conferred by the Customs Act.
