Anti-dumping duties on Low Carbon Ferro Chrome from Kazakhstan and Russia lifted after review finds no material injury.
Notification No. 145/2000-Customs, dated December 4, 2000, rescinds the previous Notifications No. 7/97-Customs and No. 8/97-Customs, both dated January 24, 1997, which imposed anti-dumping duties on Low Carbon Ferro Chrome originating from Kazakhstan and Russia. The decision follows a review by the designated authority, which concluded that there was no dumping of Low Carbon Ferro Chrome from these countries during the investigation period, and the domestic industry did not suffer material injury. Consequently, the cessation of these duties is not expected to harm the domestic industry.
