<h1>Meghalaya GST Rules 2017: QR Code Mandatory on B2C Invoices for Businesses with Over Rs. 500 Crore Turnover.</h1> The Government of Meghalaya has issued a notification under the Meghalaya Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017, mandating that registered persons with an annual turnover exceeding 500 crore rupees must include a Quick Response (QR) code on invoices issued to unregistered persons (B2C invoices). If a registered person provides a Dynamic QR code digitally, the B2C invoice will be considered compliant if it references the payment through this code. This requirement will be effective from April 1, 2020, as stated by the Joint Secretary of the Excise, Registration, Taxation, and Stamps Department.
