This extension follows a review initiated by the designated authority, as published on October 24, 2000, concerning the continuation of the duty initially imposed by notification No.68/99-Customs dated May 26, 1999. The extension is enacted under the powers conferred by the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and relevant rules. The amendment to the original notification specifies the new expiration date unless revoked earlier.
