of <h1>Puducherry GST Rules: Businesses with over Rs. 500 crore turnover must add QR codes on B2C invoices by Oct 1, 2020.</h1> The Government of Puducherry, through the Commercial Taxes Secretariat, has issued a notification under the Puducherry Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017. This notification mandates that registered persons with an annual turnover exceeding 500 crore rupees must include a Dynamic Quick Response (QR) code on B2C invoices. This requirement applies unless exceptions in specific sub-rules of rule 54 are met. If a QR code is provided digitally, the invoice will be deemed compliant. The implementation date for this requirement is set for October 1, 2020.
