Sea Cargo Regulations 2020 Amend Deadline to August 1st; Update Effective on Publication in Official Gazette.

The Sea Cargo Manifest and Transhipment (Amendment) Regulations, 2020, issued by the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, amends the 2018 regulations. The amendments change the effective period for certain provisions, replacing "forty-five days from the commencement" with "from 15th May, 2020 till 1st August, 2020" in sub-regulation (1), and extending the deadline in sub-regulation (2) to "till 1st August, 2020." These changes are effective from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
