of <h1>India Revokes Anti-Dumping Duty on Purified Terephthalic Acid Imports from Seven Countries, Effective February 2020.</h1> The Government of India, through the Ministry of Finance, has revoked the anti-dumping duty on Purified Terephthalic Acid and its variants, which were previously imposed under notifications No. 28/2016-Customs(ADD) and No. 28/2019-Customs(ADD). This decision, effective from February 2, 2020, applies to imports originating from China, Iran, Indonesia, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea RP, and Thailand. The revocation is executed under the powers of the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, and is documented in Notification No. 03/2020-Customs (ADD), published in the Gazette of India.
