of <h1>Foreign Trade Policy Amendment: Approval Authority for EOUs, EHTPs, STPs, and BTPs Shifts from BOA to Development Commissioner.</h1> The amendment to Paragraph 6.01(k) of the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-20 involves a change in the authority responsible for approving requests from Export Oriented Units (EOU), Electronic Hardware Technology Parks (EHTP), Software Technology Parks (STP), and Biotechnology Parks (BTP) in sectors other than Gems & Jewellery. Previously managed by the Board of Approval (BOA), the authority is now delegated to the Development Commissioner or Designated Officer. These requests pertain to the consolidation and export of goods related to manufactured articles. The amendment specifies conditions for importing or procuring goods from the Domestic Tariff Area (DTA) without affecting Net Foreign Exchange (NFE) calculations or DTA sale entitlements.
