of <h1>Central Government Rescinds Notification No. 97/96-Cus Under Section 9A of Customs Tariff Act; Anti-Dumping Duties Unaffected</h1> Notification No. 114/2000-Customs, dated 31st August 2000, issued by the Central Government under the Customs Tariff Act, 1975, rescinds the earlier notification No. 97/96-Cus., dated 20th December 1996. This action is taken pursuant to the powers conferred by section 9A of the Customs Tariff Act and relevant rules concerning anti-dumping duties. The rescission does not affect any actions taken or omitted under the previous notification before the date of rescission.
