of <h1>Manipur Amends GST Notification: Tax Rate Reduced from 1% to 0.5% on Taxable Supplies of Goods.</h1> The Government of Manipur has amended Notification No. 5/10/2017-FD(TAX)(A), dated June 29, 2017, under the Manipur Goods and Services Tax Act, 2017. Effective from November 1, 2018, the amendment modifies clause (i) by replacing 'one per cent' with 'half per cent' and clause (iii) by specifying 'half per cent of the turnover' to 'half per cent of the turnover of taxable supplies of goods.' These changes reflect adjustments in the tax rates applicable under the Manipur State GST framework.
