<h1>India's New Chapter 7(A) in Foreign Trade Policy: Transport & Marketing Assistance for Agri Exports.</h1> The Government of India has introduced a new chapter, 7(A), in the Foreign Trade Policy 2015-2020, establishing the Transport and Marketing Assistance (TMA) scheme for specified agriculture products. This scheme aims to provide assistance for exporting these products to designated destinations. The initiative is enacted under the Foreign Trade (Development & Regulation) Act, 1992, and is detailed in the Department of Commerce's notification dated February 27, 2019. Procedures for accessing this assistance are outlined in Chapter 7(A) of the Handbook of Procedures, 2015-2020.
